This adrenaline adventure trip offers you the bright city lights of Johannesburg contrasting with magnificent scenic views from sheer rock faces down to the ocean depths, rocky shores and spectacular coral reefs.

We begin this action packed adventure with a stop at Gold Reef City, located in the south of Johannesburg. This theme park, centred around a disused mine shaft, combines the days of early 20th century mining with modern day entertainment. Here you can enjoy an authentic South African mining experience by descending a mineshaft and exploring the darkened winding tunnels once used by gold miners. Various rides, pubs and museums will keep you entertained.

Departing from our golden city we head to your first adrenaline packed activity, where you will hang suspended and abseil down an otherwise inaccessible gorge.

We begin the following day with a beautiful and scenic drive through the forestry plantations of Mpumalanga to the town of Graskop. Here you can conquer your fears by flying across the gorge on a 131 metre long High Wire, suspended 80 metres above the ground or experience the adrenaline rush of a 60 metre freefall in less than 3 seconds on the worlds highest cable gorge swing. For those who are more faint hearted, Graskop offers magnificent views of the waterfall, gorge and other natural surroundings. The wild and rough terrain of this region will put your skill and dexterity to the test on a quad bike; can you remain on all four wheels?

The evening focuses on culture and tradition. You will be invited to enjoy a traditional Shangaan meal, a tribe native to the Limpopo and Mpumalanga Provinces of South Africa as well as parts of Mozambique and Zimbabwe. The night will be spent at Graskop.

The next few days will bring you close to wildest Africa as we safari through South Africa's largest game reserve, the Kruger National Park. Bush breakfasts and 'braais' add to the flavour, while the nightly roar of lions is a constant reminder of the powerful environment that surrounds you.

The Kingdom of Swaziland, an independent country almost surrounded by South Africa, offers spectacular caves, soothing hot springs and renowned hospitality. Once again you will be engulfed in local tradition by spending the night in traditional Swazi beehive huts.

At this stage adrenaline junkies will have to rise to the challenge yet again for the rapids of the Usutu, Swaziland's largest river. Allow for a full day of Grade II through to Grade IV white water rafting (approximately 13 kilometres). Keeping our hiking enthusiasts in mind we will visit the "not-to-be-missed" Sibebe Rock, which is the largest unbroken granite dome and the third largest rock in the world. Sibebe rock is known for its challenging hiking trails, apparently the steepest walk in the world.

The tour now takes you to the coral reefs of Sodwana Bay in the northern part of the Great St Lucia Wetlands. Only your own breathing will be heard as you escape into an underwater world of coral gardens and tropical fish. Snorkelling and board surfing are on offer to complete the day.

This package also offers you kayaking on Lake Bhangazi and cycling around the beautiful wetland of St Lucia in Kwazulu Natal.

On returning to Johannesburg we offer an optional skydive, if your time permits. This will be a tandem jump with a master enabling you to enjoy a free fall and parachute ride.

Our summer adventure includes shark cage diving, abseiling, sand boarding and ocean rafting in the majestic Cape.

We hope this has whetted your appetite and that you will find yourselves planning a Southern African adventure.
