The Rhino and Lion Park (Full Day Tour)
This reserve falls within the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site. Visitors can expect to see a wide variety of wildlife, including some very rare and endangered species such as the White Lion, Rhino, Wild dog & Sable Antelope.
A precious gem to be discovered, a must-see, whether you want to experience the bush and 4 of the Big Five up close and personal or at a distance view the vultures at their "restaurant".
A typical day tour includes:
- A safari in our excellent touring vehicle, complete with guide.
- The opportunity to cuddle with some of the cubs and have your photo taken.
- A visit to the Wonder caves - a natural wonder of 2200 million years. Stalactites and stalagmites rim stone pools and formations of up to 15meters in length.
- Live snake and reptile displays.
- Lion, Cheetah and Wild Dog feeding by a qualified ranger.
- Lunch and drinks at the restaurant and Croc Pub.
- More game viewing up close and personal in the Lion Enclosure, where the pride operates in as close to nature situation as possible.
- There are 2 smaller camps, adjoining the lion camp, which house cheetah and a pack of wild dogs.
- If time allows, there also the Hippo Pools to view.
